At shopping centres and city car parks, charging demand varies with visitor numbers and parking duration. Operators need to deliver the required energy while making effective use of space and the existing electrical connection.

Fixed charging locations may not always match the distribution of demand. Where access to vehicles is suitable, mobile charging can be assessed as a way to serve different parking locations.

A site assessment identifies vehicle traffic, movement routes, parking arrangements and daily energy demand. Electrical work, permissions and operating requirements are considered alongside this plan.

CB-1 travels to the vehicle’s parking location within a defined operating area. Service locations and the dock position are selected according to access and safety requirements. Autonomous task planning is configured around the car park’s daily operations.

CB-2 provides battery-buffered DC charging capacity at busy locations. A pilot lets the operator measure demand and consumption before planning purchase or rental arrangements. Additional capacity can be assessed as usage grows.
